Liberal Forum Pakistan recasts itself by revisiting its strategy and target image

Liberal Forum Pakistan gets a tail wind by Mr. Mr. Manfred Richter to reorganize itself in terms of thematic and organizational matters during a three day Strategy Workshop held 28-30 July in Islamabad. This strategy Workshop for Liberal Forum Pakistan was meant to streamline the organization and define its concrete objectives for the year 2008. It served to bring all the members of the board and thinking minds around a table to discuss all the internal organizational matters after the transitional phase of LFP during the first half of the year and thematic issues concerning liberals in the current scenario.

The program was designed to make LFP realize its present status through SWOT analysis strategically leading the members of the board of LFP towards realization of its organizational situation and status in the society especially after the internal organizational changes. The participants were guided to design a target Image for the organization; craft its target message; devise a strategy to work for this target image involving the target audience. The participants unanimously chose the theme of Transparency to work on during year 2008 and designed a campaign.
LFP looked forward to initiate this campaign for promoting transparency and denouncing corruption in the country through the articles in the news papers, seminars, publications, the electronic media and developed a Time Action Plan as well.
This exclusive workshop was moderated by Mr. Manfred Richter, Member of the Board of Directors of Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit (FNF) on the special request of Mr. Peter-Andreas Bochmann, Resident Representative of FNF and Mr. Anees Jillani, Chairman of Liberal Forum Pakistan.
